Background story:
Darren was raised from rich family. His father Duncan is a General Manager. Darren and his family were lived in Pennsylvania. Duncan really longed for having a daughter just because he already had son. But sadly, Maryanne got baby boy again who named Darren. Duncan was really disappointed but he should accept it just because Darren is still his son. Darren had ghost powers when he was born but the doctor didn't tell to his parents so his parents didn't know either. When Darren was toddler, nobody wanted to play with him even be his friends cause they thought Darren was a monster. Darren was not yet controlling himself, he always bit another kids when they got injured. Darren was so sad, he only played with himself and his mother. Not only Darren had no friends, Darren's parents always argued each other. His father always intimidated his mother because his mother didn't obey what he want. Darren saw their parents fighting and Darren couldn't stand of Darren's father authoritarian or weird ambitious.
After that, Darren's mother Maryanne pregnant again when Darren was 7 years old. And they got baby girl named Katie. Katie liked bugging his brothers especially Darren but Darren disliked to being bugged by his sister. Several years later, Darren grew up so fast and he studied in some elementary school in Pennsylvania. He always got bullied in school and had no any friends. Many kids in school always hurt him physically and locked him to the janitor room.
When his 10th birthday, his mother got heart attack and died but before she died, Maryanne asked Duncan for take care of their children and treat them well. Darren was so upset and sad until he locked himself in his room just because he thought life is unfair, he had no friends, being bullied, and lost his mother. Many months later, Duncan married with another woman named Lindsay. Lindsay is kind heart and grateful woman. But Darren is not really close to her, even though he doesn't hate his step-mother.
Many years later, Darren becomes teenager. Darren studied in high school but got bullied again even more hurt more worse. After school finished, he felt strange in himself. He can trough the wall and door also he can hear something until ultrasonic. At home, he was shocked that he can transform into ghost form and realized he has ghost power. So he trained his ghost power and designed his ghost outfit. But too bad, he uses his ghost powers to wrong way for harm his bully. He was good and sociable at first, he becomes so cruel and revengeful. He swears to himself that he would use his ghost power for kill his bully so they can feel same suffer.
Now, hes 16 years old, his family and him moved to Amity Park and Darren was a Transfer student to Casper High. Many people in Casper High especially the A-listers were harassed him at first but he payed them so harsh. He introduced himself at his new class, Skylar who is his friend now used to insulted him nerd. Darren was so angry and threaten him. After that, Darren walked in hall and got hit by Valley cause Valley's shoestring was released. Actually, Valley had apologized him but Darren payed her so harsh and finally they were argued and became rival at first. Then, Danny hit him and broke his glasses, Darren was so upset just because Danny didn't apologized to him. Finally, they were fighting again. Darren decided to harm those people. In the night, he bought some new glasses. He flew for discovering those people who messed him. He found Dash, and wanted to attack him but Danny attacked Darren with his power. Darren was so angry and he thought Danny wanted to mess with him. In the final battle, Darren got lost and he would be back. The next day, Darren found Valley's pencil case from his bag and decided to give that pencil case back to the owner at the lunch time. Time was running out and it was lunch time, Valley found his pencil case and asked Darren to gave it back. But Darren didn't want, finally they were arguing for the pencil case. Darren was gave up and gave the pencil case back to Valley.
When the class time was finished, Darren found drum set in studio room. He tried to play with it and Darren really enjoyed it. Darren is good at playing drum. Skylar and his friends saw Darren playing drum so well. And they thought Darren is awesome and they needed some drummer. Skylar apologized to Darren and asked him to join his group band. Darren was so pleased and accepted it. Finally, they become solid group band and Darren got friends. After that, Darren becomes a popular kid with his group band friends. But sadly, His group band is great rival with A-listers.
After that, Darren saw Valley being harassed by Paulina and Star. Darren helped Valley and Darren asked Paulina and Star to give up. Valley didn't get it but she felt so grateful to Darren.
